Ti 6AL-4V ELI, or Grade 23. is a higher purity version of Ti 6Al-4V with a lower content of interstitial elements and good impact toughness. It can be made as coil, strand, wire or flat wire. It is the first choice for any situation requiring high strength, light weight, good corrosion resistance and high toughness. It has excellent damage tolerance compared to other alloys.
These advantages make Grade 23 the ultimate dental and medical tool, and due to its biocompatibility, good fatigue strength and low modulus, it can be used in biomedical applications such as implantable components as well as detailed surgical procedures (Titanium is a non-magnetic metal , cannot be magnetized in a large magnetic field, and titanium is non-toxic and compatible with blood, so titanium has been applied in the medical field).
