CP Ti Gr.1
Gr.1 Titanium, also known as TA1, is the most malleable grade of industrial pure titanium, due to its low iron and oxygen content. It boasts the highest plastic toughness, making it ideal for forming, and features excellent corrosion resistance and superior impact toughness when exposed to seawater.
Essential details
TA1 Titanium is the first of four commercial pure titanium grades. It is a kind of industrial pure titanium with low iron and oxygen, which makes it the softest and most ductile and plastic toughness among these grades of industrial pure titanium, so it has the best formability and excellent corrosion resistance (in seawater) and high impact toughness.
In the industry, TA1 is often used to manufacture various plates, parts, forgings, wires and pipes that work at a temperature of -253 degrees to 350 degrees and are not stressed.
