Ti Gr.7
Grade 7 (TA9) boasts remarkable weldability and machinability, and is especially resistant to corrosion caused by reducing acids compared to other titanium alloys. It also quickly forms a thin, uniform oxide film on its surface in the atmosphere, providing further protection against corrosion.

Mechanically and physically equivalent to Grade 2. except with the addition of the interstitial element palladium (Pd), making it a more corrosion resistant alloy. Grade 7 has excellent weldability and machinability and is the most corrosion resistant of all titanium alloys, especially to reducing acids. (Good corrosion resistance. In the atmosphere, a uniform and fine oxide film is formed on the surface of titanium immediately, which has the ability to resist corrosion by various media. Generally, titanium has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and neutral media. In seawater, Corrosion resistance in wet chlorine and chloride solutions is better.)
